Ingredients
- 1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise

- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon ranch dressing mix (or your mix of herbs – see Tip below)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
- In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients.
- Blend until completely smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust seasonings. Add more lime juice for extra tang or more ranch seasonings for a stronger flavour.
- If it’s too thick, thin with a bit more buttermilk.
- For the best flavour, chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
