Ingredients:
- 1 pound of dried black beans
- 1 pound of pork shoulder, cut into chunks
- 1/2 pound of smoked sausage, sliced
- 1/2 pound of bacon, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 bay leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Water
- Farofa (toasted cassava flour) for serving

Instructions:
- Rinse the black beans and soak them in water overnight.
